Gudport keeps one stock ledger behind every register and every location. Sales, returns, receiving, transfers and adjustments all move the same count, the moment they happen.

Capabilities
Stock you can trust without recounting.
Real-time on every till
A unit sold on Till 01 disappears from Till 02 and the back office in the same moment.
Variants handled properly
Sizes, colours and pack sizes are tracked as their own stock, so M / White never hides behind M / Blue.
Reorder points per product
Set a minimum per product and per store. Crossing it raises a suggestion with a quantity based on recent sales.
Receiving against orders
Book in deliveries against what was ordered. Short or extra units are recorded and the count updates.
Transfers between stores
Move stock from a location that has it to one that needs it, with both sides updated on dispatch and receipt.
Cycle counts, not shutdowns
Count one shelf or category at a time while the store stays open. Differences are logged with a reason.
In practice
Every movement of stock, recorded the same way
- 01
Sale or return
Checkout deducts or restores the unit immediately, per variant and per location.
- 02
Delivery received
Receiving adds units to the right store and closes the matching reorder suggestion.
- 03
Transfer or adjustment
Transfers, damages and count corrections post with a reason, so every change has a history.
- 04
Reorder point crossed
The product is flagged, a suggested quantity is calculated and the alert reaches the right person.

Questions
Asked at every demo.
How is the suggested reorder quantity worked out?
It looks at recent sell-through for that product at that store, the lead time you set for the supplier and the shelf level you want to return to. You can always edit the quantity.
Will Gudport order from my supplier automatically?
No. Gudport suggests. Automatic purchase orders only happen if you explicitly enable and configure that workflow for a supplier.
Can I bring in my current stock?
Yes. Products, variants, barcodes and opening quantities import from a spreadsheet, and we help check the file before go-live.
